Senior Concrete Estimator – Shell Contractor, High Rise, Rebar, Post Tension

A Senior Estimator with broad Concrete / Shell / Tunnel Form experience is urgently required to join a well-established Shell Contractor with over 40 years of experience, specializing in vertical construction projects across the residential, commercial, and governmental sectors. Their focus is on high-rise, heavy concrete formwork and post-tensioned concrete superstructures. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator with a strong background across high rises, rebar and post tension to lead the estimating team.
In this role, the Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost and labor estimates for assigned projects. This includes generating estimates independently and, when required, supervising a team of estimators to ensure accuracy and consistency. The position requires a deep understanding of high-rise concrete construction, including post-tension systems and heavy formwork methods. The Senior Estimator will analyze project drawings, specifications, and proposals to develop accurate budgets, while working closely with operations, project managers, and purchasing to align expectations and execution plans.
Ideal candidates will have at least five years of experience in concrete estimating, with proven expertise in multi-story and high-rise structures. Proficiency in estimating software such as Sage, Bluebeam and Planswift is essential. Knowledge of Primavera a big plus. Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills are also necessary, as this role involves overseeing multiple estimates and collaborating with various departments in a fast-paced environment.
