Overview
Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving Clerk job at Plasma-Therm. Livermore, CA.
The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments at our Livermore location.
Responsibilities
- Shipping: accurately pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickup
- Assistance in loading the delivery truck
- Receiving shipments, recording them into inventory log, and maintaining inventory through audits
- Positive and helpful in communication to supervisors, sales staff, co-workers, and customers about coordination of deliveries/pick-up.
- Safe and efficient forklift operation (required maintenance of certification)
- Performance of vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor
- Assistance in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift Only
- Monday to Friday
Work Location
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision
- Prior forklift experience
- Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
