Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Contract (Temp-to-Perm Option)

Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend (temp-to-perm possible)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 3x12s + every other Saturday | ~12 shifts per month
Start: ASAP

About the Role:
Join a high-acuity urgent care clinic seeing patients across the lifespan. Providers typically see 35–40 patients daily and must be comfortable working independently as the sole provider on site, with support from MAs, X-ray techs, front desk, and access to the Medical Director/Owner as needed.

Highlights:

• Outpatient urgent care, high acuity cases
• EMR: Codonix (streamlined, minimal typing)
• In-house labs (cardiac enzymes, CBC, CHEM-8) & EKG
• Splinting handled by staff
• ~1% transfer rate to ER

Requirements:

• Active FL license & Board Certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year ER experience (must be comfortable with independent practice, reading own labs/X-rays)

Compensation & Travel:

• Local candidates preferred (mileage covered)
• Travel and lodging provided if needed
• Credentialing: ~2 weeks

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $85.00 per hour
