Traveling Superintendent - Federal

Federal Quality Control Manager

Position Overview
The Federal QCM will oversee construction projects for federal clients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols. This role is crucial for managing project timelines, budgets, and teams to deliver quality construction solutions in alignment with government standards.

This is an onsite position at one of our nationwide sites with paid travel back home every three weeks! We currently have various large scale projects ranging from $50-$150 Million which will require a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent. Our company is also a national contractor and has unlimited work all over the US and Overseas for further work opportunity at any time!

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations for federal projects at various locations.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and safety standards, including OSHA and EM385.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders and government agencies.
• Implement quality control measures and ensure all work meets project standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QCM in the construction industry, preferably with federal projects.
• Familiarity with USACE, Navy, and Army Corps of Engineers standards and requirements.
• Experience with facilities construction, including hangars and vertical structures.
• Knowledge of CQCM processes and procedures.
• Strong understanding of federal government contracting and regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
