\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Responsible for the quality and efficient completion of radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation
\n• Provide patient education, quality patient care, and meet all regulatory compliance requirements
\n• Manage daily operation of the women's health section of radiology
\n• Suggest changes in procedures, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
\n• Coordinate training and development in breast imaging specialties
\n• Adhere to all FDA guidelines for the mammography section
\n• Maintain appropriate records for all accreditation processes and inspections
\n• Maintain structured reporting system to ensure accurate audit reporting and statistical tracking
\n• Complete daily QA and preventative maintenance scheduling
\n• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of mammography imaging procedures
\n• Perform all exams based on imaging department protocols
\n• Practice radiation safety adhering to ALARA standards
\n• Operate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendations
\n• Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate service engineer calls when needed
\n• Verify exam orders and identify patients through two means of identification
\n• Review and document patient medical history and obtain required informed consent
\n• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR including charging for procedures and supplies
\n• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities and adjusting schedules as needed
\n• Take call, overtime, or holiday shifts as required
\n• Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when needed
\n• Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory
\n• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
\n• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M) required
\n• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 90 days
\n• Two years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist required
\n• Cross-training in other modalities including CT, MRI, and DEXA preferred
\n• Experience with electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS preferred
\n• Must adhere to organizational attire and dress code policies
\n• Must maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times
