Tool & Die Maker Direct Hire
Location: Sturgeon Bay, WI
Schedule: MondayThursday, 5:55 AM4:25 PM (occasional Fridays)
Pay: $28$34/hour, based on experience
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Were looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance high-speed stamping dies and tooling. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering stable weekday hours, strong benefits, and room to grow your technical expertise.

What Youll Do

• Perform precision toolmaking and die maintenance work for high-speed stamping operations.
• Set up and operate Tool Room equipment including grinders, mills, lathes, and EDM machines.
• Plan and execute complex die repairs and improvements with minimal supervision.
• Conduct inspections to ensure tooling accuracy, performance, and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior toolmakers and machinists.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and production documentation.
• Use forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed).

What Youll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed apprenticeship in Tool & Die, Mold Making, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of tool and die experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Wire EDM, Esprit programming, and CAD/NC programming preferred.
• Welding, soldering, or brazing experience a plus.
• Proven commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
