This newly created Tax Accountant position is ideal for a well-rounded tax professional who enjoys client interaction, strategic projects, and process improvement—without the grind of public accounting hours.

What The Tax Accountant Will Do - Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, trusts, individuals, and corporations
- Assist with tax provisions for federal and state compliance
- Research tax laws and recommend effective tax strategies
- Monitor and implement new and revised tax legislation
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
- Contribute to special projects, IRS audits, and tax planning initiatives
- Stay current with tax trends and participate in relevant training and professional development
What The Company Needs In a Tax Accountant - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (MST or CPA preferred)
- 2+ years of tax accounting experience, including preparing federal and state returns
- Strong understanding of tax software and tax lifecycle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both tax and non-tax stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively on multiple projects
