About The Role Shape the future of AI — with Shell! As an AI Tutor - Shell , you'll use your command-line and scripting expertise to improve AI-generated code and ensure it aligns with Shell's portability, safety, and scripting best practices. Your Day to Day Review Shell scripts for correctness, efficiency, and idiomatic command usage. Solve practical automation and system-level tasks using Shell scripting and explain your process. Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear script logic. Summarize your approach and decision-making clearly and concisely. About You Fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills. Expertise in Shell: POSIX-compliant scripting, environment management, process control, and text manipulation tools (e.g., awk, sed, grep). 3–5 years of experience in Shell scripting or Unix/Linux system administration is a plus. Bachelor's degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's or PhD preferred. Deep interest in AI, automation, or low-level system tooling.
