Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory updates
• Coordinate with carriers and freight companies for pickup and delivery schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies during shipping and receiving processes
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counts
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and communicate with vendors and clients as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to operate shipping software and basic computer applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods
