Join our team at KPMG US as a Senior Director in the Board Leadership Center (BLC) within the Clients and Markets organization.

Serve as a subjectmatter expert/thought leader representing KPMG on board governance and related issues.
Provide governance expertise and education to support KPMG clients at the board/csuite level.
Help drive the development and execution of the BLCs premier programs and sponsored/thirdparty boardlevel programs.
Develop/author articles and papers on timely governance issues and boardroom practices, including oversight of strategy, risk, tech innovation, digital disruption, and data governance.
Interact with KPMG partners and leadership across the firm (Audit, Tax, Advisory, Market Development, Events & Meetings, Independence) to develop client relationships and deliver relevant insights to board members, membership groups, and top executives.
Support the calibration of BLCs operational effectiveness and help define/refine BLCs strategy as part of the BLC leadership team.
Contribute to a learning environment within BLC by sharing insights and mentoring team members.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMGs respectful and courteous work environment.

Minimum fifteen years of recent experience in the corporate governance arena; knowledge of audit and financial reporting a plus.
J.D., MBA, PhD or other advanced degree preferred; bachelors degree required.
Knowledge and ability to help boards understand the impact of tech/digital disruption and the implications for strategy, risk, and board oversight; experience in the technology sector is a strong plus.
Excellent reputation and connectivity in the board ecosystem; strong interpersonal skills, highlevel communication, and media presence; ability to represent KPMG on stage and lead boardlevel discussions.
Strong collaborative mindset; proven ability to execute collaboratively with quality, ontime, and onbudget results.
Futurefocused strategic and innovative thinker with a strong commitment to lifelong learning.
Significant domestic travel expected.

Salary range: $180,000 - $357,000 (California). Full benefits package available.
