As a Security Officer - Access Control - Morning Shift in Point Comfort, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with a diverse group of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a positive experience for everyone on site. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures in a professional manner.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to support the daily operations of the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and identify any unusual activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
