As a Security Officer specializing in access control within a dynamic logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Communicate with site staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to provide assistance and maintain awareness of activities at the location.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site procedures related to access control and security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
