Job Purpose:

The RPA Engineer, Automation Engineer, is a member of the IT Business Operations Team whose purpose it is to provide hands-on automation design, development, and administration support for various end-to-end business process cycles with a primary focus on UiPath and SAP S4/HANA. This position has the functional experience and technical aptitude necessary to understand complex business process objectives and configure automation tools and applications to meet those objectives. Some assignments and tasks may require creating ad hoc solutions to solve problems by drawing on technical experience with databases, scripting languages, and other automation capabilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • UiPath RPA development and platform administration
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation assets that increase the functional capacity of business users, business platforms including SAP S4/HANA
  • Understand business drivers that will impact performance
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to production support staff, including key integration points between systems
  • Creation of and adherence to documentation for traceability and audit
  • Oversee and fix any defects or performance problems discovered during the lifecycle of delivered automations
  • Define the technical framework of automation projects
  • Capture the Business and or Financial Impact, using reporting to track effectiveness
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing for configuration changes
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and create end-to-end process recommendations
  • Understand and document business requirements through partnerships with business process owners
  • Build organizational capability through continuous improvement activities; originate action to improve existing conditions and processes; identify improvement opportunities, generate ideas, and implement solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or US equivalent in Computer Science or other related field and must have a minimum of 5 year of experience in the job offered or related position.
  • Must have 5 years of experience working in technical business process automation.
  • Must have 2 years experience working with the following: UiPath development and Orchestrator administration and SAP S/4 HANA
  • Experience developing and deploying assisted and unassisted RPA robots.

  • Minimal Travel required
