Location: Owasso, OK
Job Description
Assignment Type: 6-week temporary contract
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Pay: $17–$18 per hour (based on experience)
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome all patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Schedule appointments, register patients, and update patient information regularly.
• Answer phones, triage calls, and assist with customer requests, including medication refills.
• Monitor fax and voicemail folders throughout the day.
• Manage front office duties including light cleaning, stocking and ordering supplies, and coordinating with pharmacy reps (lunches, samples).
• Process payments, run daily patient invoice reports, and complete missed invoices.
• Scan and organize documents.
Experience/Education Requirements:
• 2+ years of clerical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• High school diploma required.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of proven administrative experience (healthcare preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients, physicians, and clinic staff.
• Positive, personable, and patient-focused in all communication.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Experience with patient scheduling and triaging calls in a medical office setting.
• Team-oriented mindset.
Physical Demands:
• Primarily sedentary role with occasional standing and movement throughout the day.
• Light lifting, up to 20 lbs.
• Some twisting, turning, reaching, stooping, or kneeling.
