Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
Work Model: Primarily Remote (Initial 1-2 months onsite and thereafter as needed)

Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle APEX Developer to support enterprise application modernization initiatives, including the migration of legacy Oracle Forms applications to modern, scalable Oracle APEX solutions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically strong, and experienced in building secure, high-performing applications in an enterprise environment.

This role is remote with occasional on-site work in New York City , so local candidates are required .

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Oracle Forms/Reports applications to Oracle APEX

• Design and develop secure, responsive APEX applications

• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code

• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and BI Publisher

• Integrate APEX applications with REST APIs and legacy systems

• Implement application security (authentication/authorization) and performance tuning

• Support CI/CD processes using Git and DevOps tools

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders

• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer

• Support testing, UAT, and production issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 4 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle APEX Developer

• Strong experience with Oracle APEX (22.x or newer preferred)

• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development and tuning skills

• Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c

• Experience migrating or supporting Oracle Forms

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs , JSON , and XML

• Experience building reports using Power BI and/or BI Publisher

• Familiarity with Git and DevOps-based deployment processes

• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Fusion Middleware

• Experience working in large enterprise or public-sector environments

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and performance monitoring tools
