QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of an Associates degree or the equivalent in experience with knowledge in the electrical and mechanical field.
• Five years of management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the meat industry.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations: State Mechanical Contractors License
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to define problems and to resolve them quickly.
• Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plant.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration principles and applications.
• Must be computer literate with the basic skills in Excel and MS Work.
• Must have an understanding of the capabilities of CAD and the use of PLC type equipment.

Must have:

• Minimum of an Associates degree OR equivalent experience with knowledge in the electrical and mechanical field.
• Five years of management experience in manufacturing (preferably meat industry).
• Certifications/Licenses: State Mechanical Contractors License.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, including OSHA regulations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration principles and applications.
• Must be computer literate with skills in Excel and MS Word.
• Understanding of CAD capabilities.
• Understanding of PLC type equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in environments ranging from -40F to 110F.
• Ability to work in noisy environment, use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
