Aetos Healthcare Inc. is a physician-led organization specializing in Medicare-covered Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) services. Our mission is to help doctors improve patient outcomes, reduce hospitalizations, and increase practice revenue — without adding workload to clinic staff.
We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Medical Assistant to work onsite at physician offices in Dallas, TX area to enroll eligible patients into our RPM program and provide ongoing monitoring support.
Office Location: Irving, TX Position Summary
The Medical Assistant will serve as the face of Aetos Healthcare inside participating physician offices, responsible for:
- Educating and enrolling eligible patients into the RPM program.
- Ensuring devices are set up and patients are trained.
- Providing ongoing monitoring, documentation, and follow-up under physician direction.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn-Clinic Duties - Onsite in Dallas, TX area
- Visit assigned physician offices on scheduled days.
- Identify eligible patients based on medical criteria (e.g., hypertension, CHF, COPD, diabetes).
- Explain RPM benefits to patients and obtain consent for participation.
- Set up and demonstrate RPM devices (blood pressure cuffs, weight scales, glucometers, etc.).
- Record enrollment in Aetos RPM software.
Ongoing RPM Duties (remote or in-office)
- Monitor patient readings daily through the RPM platform.
- Flag abnormal results and escalate to the physician or clinical team per protocol.
- Document all interactions and interventions in the RPM system.
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure patient compliance and troubleshoot device issues.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all activities.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Certified or pursuing a certification in the following areas: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent clinical certification.
- 1+ years of clinical or outpatient medical office experience.
- Strong patient communication skills and ability to explain medical technology in plain language.
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and cloud-based software.
- Reliable transportation to visit physician offices in Fort Wayne.
- Preferred:
- Experience with Remote Patient Monitoring or Chronic Care Management.
- Familiarity with Medicare billing codes (99453, 99454, 99457, 99458).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Onsite at assigned physician offices in Dallas, TX area.
- May include some remote monitoring work from home after initial onboarding.
- Monday–Friday, standard business hours.
