This opportunity seeks a skilled Gifted Teacher to provide specialized instruction to elementary students in grades K-5. The position is based in Aliceville, AL, within an elementary school setting and follows the traditional school calendar (NSY). This contract role focuses on nurturing the intellectual growth of gifted learners through tailored curriculum and enrichment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans that challenge and engage gifted students in grades K-5.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement.
• Facilitate a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to program planning for gifted education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching gifted students in elementary school.
• Strong understanding of gifted education strategies and curriculum differentiation.
• Ability to design creative, advanced-level activities to promote higher-order thinking skills.
• Excellent munication skills and collaborative approach.
• Valid teaching certification appropriate for elementary education and gifted programming.
