Job Description
Salary: $41,600 - 62,400 per year Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in help desk, service desk, or customer support roles
- Familiarity with Windows desktop support
- Knowledge of email and basic cloud applications
- Experience with printers and common office hardware
- Understanding of remote support tools
- Basic networking skills (Wi-Fi, routers, switches)
- Experience using a ticketing system (e.g., AutoTask, ConnectWise)
- Patience and empathy when dealing with frustrated users
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Certifications (A+, Net+, CCNA) are advantageous but not mandatory
Responsibilities: - Answer incoming support calls and respond to service requests
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to non-technical users
- Troubleshoot and resolve common IT problems efficiently
- Articulate solutions in clear, understandable language
- Manage support tickets through their entire lifecycle
- Keep customers updated and reassured during resolution efforts
- Escalate issues to senior staff as necessary
- Collaborate with teammates while adhering to established service protocols
