Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs on customer vehicles and trailers
- Perform basic welding tasks
- Provide updates to customers and managers regarding job completion times, service expenses, and potential changes
- Monitor job profitability while ensuring high-quality standards, aiming to minimize warranty claims and rework
- Submit detailed work orders for invoicing
- Maintain inventory and supplies effectively
- Prepare lists for required replacement parts
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to environmental, health, and safety standards
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- At least two years of diesel mechanic experience in the heavy-duty sector
- Automotive Service Excellence certification or equivalent qualifications
- A personal toolset and willingness to purchase additional tools as needed (TruckPro offers reimbursement programs)
- Ability to lift parts weighing over 50 lbs
- A valid driver's license and/or CDL with a strong driving record

- The position involves significant physical activity
- Lifting, picking, pulling, and stocking heavy-duty truck parts exceeding 50 lbs is required, using lift assist tools
- Standing for extended periods and operating a forklift are necessary

- Regular use of a computer is needed for job performance
Work Environment:
The typical work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, exposing you to conditions such as dirt, dust, noise, and temperature variations.
