SUMMARYSelects, recruits, instructs and monitors student-athletes for eSports.
Responsible for submitting preliminary budget, schedule, travel and equipment needs for eSports.
Follows all rules and guidelines of the College and in accordance with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Essential Duties:

Education and/or Experience
Associate Degree, credential, and/or Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution preferred but is not required. Experience serving as a head and/or assistant coach in a college, high school or club setting required. College coaching experience preferred. Must be CPR/First Aid Certified, or able to obtain certification within 30-days of employment. Must have a valid Michigan Drivers license with no restrictions.
Computer Skills
Knowledge of multiplayer online video game application and streaming trends. Intermediate troubleshooting skills of network/hardware/software to work with the IT department in support of our eSports program. Competitive level experience with multiplayer online video games and experience with the required systems needed to support those games.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats including the ability to speak before large audiences.
