Job Description
We're hiring a Finisher to prepare and apply finishes to various wood and other materials. You'll be responsible for making sure our products look their best and meet our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for finishing (e.g., sanding, cleaning, filling).
Apply stains, paints, lacquers, sealers, and other finishing materials using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
Ensure smooth, even coats and high-quality appearance.
Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary touch-ups.
Clean and maintain finishing equipment and tools.
Follow all safety rules and keep your work area tidy.
Work well with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Some experience in finishing, painting, or a similar field (e.g., 1+ year preferred).
Familiarity with different types of finishes and application methods.
Good eye for detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to follow instructions and work carefully.
Understand and follow safety procedures.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Local candidates are a plus.
Physical Demands:
Able to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for precise work.
Comfortable working in a workshop environment.
Able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to wear required safety gear (e.g., masks, gloves).
