*Duties*
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
* Educate students in core subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies.
* Utilize Montessori principles to promote independent learning and critical thinking skills.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere.
* Assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
* Provide individualized tutoring and support for students with varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
* Foster a love of learning by incorporating creative activities and hands-on experiences into lessons.
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
* Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
* Valid teaching certification or license for elementary education.
* Experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred.
* Strong skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
* Knowledge of childhood development principles and educational best practices.
* Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment methods.
* Experience or training in working with children with disabilities is a plus.
* Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners.
