The Catholic Charities' Adult Day Services, San Francisco, is a licensed adult day care program that promotes aging-in-place in a safe therapeutic environment to prevent premature placement in higher level of care facilities. Older adults who may be suffering from cognitive impairments and/or physical disabilities attend 2-5 days a week while their family caregivers receive supportive services and respite. The program hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and usher clients to or from the Red-Wheels buses, providing ambulatory assistance as needed as they arrive each morning, or as they leave at the end of the day. Establish positive rapport with program participants, interacting and socializing with them as needed to maximize their participation in and enjoyment of program activities.
