About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) to lead and oversee its financial and administrative functions. The CFAO will be a strategic and operational leader, responsible for financial strategy, planning, and management, as well as for driving organizational efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires a proven track record in managing financial operations and administrative functions within a complex global enterprise, with a focus on aligning financial strategy with institutional priorities. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, partnering closely with the President and CEO and the Executive Director to ensure the organization's financial sustainability and support its mission. Key responsibilities for the CFAO include providing financial and operational leadership, leading the budgeting process, and ensuring the integrity of financial records and reports. The role also involves overseeing IT, facilities, security, and procurement functions, and leading a team of 75 professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance foundation, experience in strategic change management, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Professional qualifications should include a CPA and/or relevant advanced degree, with a commitment to the mission of the organization and a passion for environmental issues. The CFAO must be a collaborative team player, with exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent.
