Job Details

The Goddess and Grocer catering kitchen is looking for an experienced cake decorator. Located at 1036 N. Kilbourn, our commissary kitchen is a high volume, fast paced and fun environment with an amazing and dedicated staff. Come work with a great team and serve up some beautiful pastries! Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Review and fulfill daily catering orders, store food and other wholesale orders.
• Cake cutting, filling and icing according to specifications. 
• Prepare items following company recipes and quality standards with a sense of urgency.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Answer and report to the Chef on duty.
• Keep stations and all storage areas clean following sanitation requirements. 
• Stock deliveries and inventory appropriately according to standards.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
