Program Overview: River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking experienced
Mental Health Therapists to provide behavioral health services within local schools through the
Georgia APEX Program . In this role, you will serve children aged 5 and up in elementary, middle, and high schools across Putnam and Baldwin counties. This is an exciting opportunity to build extensive clinical experience with a wide range of behavioral health conditions in a supportive, professional environment at a nationally recognized and growing program.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual and family therapy for youth with mental health and/or substance use disorders in school settings, clinics, or via telehealth.
- Conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and obtain necessary service authorizations.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications: - Master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Rehabilitation Counseling.
- Eligibility for associate licensure (LAPC/LPC, LMSW/LCSW, or LAMFT/LMFT) is required; licensure pursuit must begin upon hire.
- Associate or full clinical licensure preferred (LCSW/LMSW, LPC/APC, LMFT/LAMFT).
